Let’s go camping – with an Acura Honda NSX!
Car enthusiast “Chris Cut” (nsxtra) not only likes japanese sports cars, but also camping. so the american screwed a roof tent onto the rear of his Honda Acura NSX!
The result looked spectacular. But for fear of damaging the fenders, the designated NSX camper rejected his first idea and came up with an even crazier vision.
Honda NSX, which were sold in the USA under the Acura brand, have now become expensive collector’s items. Good vehicles now cost over 100000 dollars and more. This is no wonder, after all the NSX is one of the all stars of the Japanese sports cars of the 90s. Along with the legendary Toyota Supra, the Mitsubishi 3000 GT and the Nissan 300 ZX, the Honda NSX was one of the dream cars from Japan back then. Unlike its competitors, the NSX is a sophisticated mid-engine sports car.
Chris’ latest idea is to build a trailer from a second NSX. The tent is to be mounted on this trailer! The body for this is already bought, as you can see in his YouTube video.
Of course, trailers made from sawed cars have been around for a long time, and sports cars with roof racks were also in fashion for a while. But a sports car with sports car trailer including roof tent? The world has probably not seen that yet!
It is not yet clear how exactly the trailer will be implemented. But the project has already started.
On his beloved Honda NSX, i.e. the towing vehicle, a ski box has been mounted by the way. We love it!
